Kelli Giddish – Born In 1980
You probably know Kelli Giddish for her role as Detective Amanda Rollins on NBC’s Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. She first appeared on the show in its 13th season a decade ago. It’s a career-making and potentially career-defining performance.
Giddish was born and raised in Cumming, Georgia. She began acting as a child, appearing in school plays as early as first grade. Her big break came in the shape of Diana “Di” Henry on the ABC soap opera All My Children. She then joined the cast of Law & Order: SVU as a series regular in 2011 after appearing as a victim in a 2007 episode. Her character is still going strong a decade later, with over 200 episodes under her credit. The authors of the sitcom even chose to integrate Giddish’s real-life pregnancies in the show, making her character a mother of two daughters.
